Terms of Use

Last updated: 04/11/2026

1. Who we are and acceptance of these Terms

The Vem Prevenir platform (website, panel and applications) is operated by [COMPANY NAME], with Portuguese corporate tax number (NIPC) [REGISTRATION NUMBER] and registered office at [ADDRESS] ("Vem Prevenir", "we"). These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the platform by anyone, whether as a user who contracts directly or as an employee associated with a client company.

By creating an account or using the platform, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. What the platform offers

Vem Prevenir connects people with health and wellbeing professionals and services. Depending on your package or your company's contract, the platform may include: booking of appointments and tests, teleconsultation, sending and storing health documents, benefit packages, prevention content and the Zélia virtual assistant.

The availability of each service depends on the country, the package purchased and the participating professionals.

3. Registration and account

4. Accounts associated with companies (employees)

If you registered through your company's link, access to certain services is paid for or provided by the company. The company may see identification and job data (such as name, role, department and establishment) and collective indicators, but it has no access to your clinical record or to the content of your consultations. Occupational health documents are only shared with the company when required by law or when the document itself is addressed to it. If your relationship with the company ends, the benefits it funds may cease.

5. Health services

6. Zélia virtual assistant

Zélia is an artificial intelligence assistant for information and prevention purposes. It does not diagnose, does not prescribe treatment and does not replace a health professional. You are interacting with an artificial intelligence, and answers may contain errors. The availability of Zélia in Portugal is subject to our own assessment.

7. Payments, right of withdrawal and refunds

Prices (including VAT, where applicable), payment methods and the conditions of each service or package are shown before purchase. Payments are processed by payment service providers. For distance contracts, consumers generally have 14 days to exercise the right of withdrawal, under the terms and with the exceptions provided by law (Decree-Law no. 24/2014). Confirmation of the purchase is sent by e-mail.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the platform for unlawful purposes; access other people's accounts or data; send offensive or false content or content that infringes rights; attempt to circumvent security, copy or commercially exploit the platform without authorisation.

9. Privacy and data protection

The processing of your personal data, including health data, follows the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and our Privacy Policy. You can exercise your rights (access, rectification, portability, erasure, among others) in the "Privacy and Data" area of your account or by e-mail at [DATA PROTECTION E-MAIL]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).

10. Intellectual property

Trademarks, logos, texts, graphic design and software of the platform belong to Vem Prevenir or its licensors. Using the platform does not transfer any rights over them.

11. Availability and liability

We work to keep the platform available and secure, but interruptions may occur for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control. Vem Prevenir is not liable for the technical acts of independent health professionals, nor for damage resulting from the user's own misuse of the account, without prejudice to the rights the law grants you.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Each version is recorded with a number and date, and material changes will be notified on the platform or by e-mail. Continued use after an update means you agree with the new version.

13. Governing law, complaints and contacts

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules. You may file a complaint in the Electronic Complaints Book (Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico, www.livroreclamacoes.pt). In the event of a consumer dispute, you may refer it to an alternative dispute resolution entity: [DISPUTE RESOLUTION ENTITY]. Questions and complaints: atendimento@vemprevenir.com.br.
